Te Tūranga | About the role
As a Asset Planning Engineer – Three Waters and Sustainability & Waste you’ll be responsible for the whole of life planning requirements for assets through:

Reviewing and updating of 3Waters Asset Management Plans

Renewals forecasting and planning for 3Waters network assets
-
Identify and implement asset management improvement actions
-
Facilitation of workgroups and project teams to achieve asset management objectives
Ngā Pukenga | What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
-
Asset management training and background (degree) preferrable
-
Basic to good understanding of asset management planning principles and concepts covered in ISO55000 standard and IIMM (International Infrastructure Management Manual)

Technical writing and updating of asset management plans and documents
-
Ability to analyse numbers and statistics and to convert data into information for decision making
-
Navigating databases and GIS information systems to collate information about assets
-
Systematic investigation of assets management concepts for improvement and new technologies
