Te Tūranga | About the role
We are on the lookout for some amazing Front of House Crew to join our never-a-dull-moment operations team to deliver events at Baycourt Community and Arts Centre, The Historic Village, and The Cargo Shed.
If you're someone who values manaakitanga (hospitality), enjoys a varied workplace, and working with an awesome group of like-minded people in some of Tauranga's most incredible venues, then we'd love to hear from you.
In this casual role, you will:
- Provide high-quality service to audiences, guests, and clients.
- Assist with guiding guests and managing seating.
- Handle venue evacuation responsibilities as needed.
- Sell products over the bar and assist with food service.
- Monitor events and ensure smooth operations.
- Reset room layouts as required for different events.
- Perform cleaning tasks to maintain venue standards.
- Occasionally assist with ticket sales and box office duties.
Ngā Pukenga | What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll:
- Be available for at least 4 shifts per month.
- Be available on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.
- Bring strong customer service experience from the arts, venues, events, hospitality, or tourism sectors.
- Have a genuine desire to prioritize the customer in every interaction.
- Maintain a calm and positive attitude.
- Collaborate effectively with the team.
