We’re on the lookout for experienced and enthusiastic Front of House Managers to join our busy and energetic operations team, helping deliver events across Baycourt Community and Arts Centre, The Historic Village, and The Cargo Shed.

In this casual role, you will:

  • Lead Front of House Crew during events and support smooth event delivery.
  • Provide high-quality service to audiences, guests, clients, and visitors.
  • Oversee food and beverage service during events.
  • Support venue presentation before, during, and after events.
  • Liaise with clients and respond to operational needs on shift.
  • Manage emergency evacuation responsibilities when required.
  • Occasionally assist with ticket sales and box office duties.

Our events take place during weekdays, weeknights, and weekends, so this casual role offers flexibility while still requiring regular availability. Please note successful applicants need to be available for at least 6 shifts per month.

  • Proven leadership experience and a strong customer service focus.
  • Experience in the arts, venues, events, hospitality, or tourism sectors.
  • A genuine commitment to creating positive experiences for customers and visitors.
  • A calm, positive, and practical approach.
  • Confidence leading others during busy event environments.
  • A solutions-focused mindset and ability to work well as part of a team.
