Te Tūranga | About the role
We’re looking for a Funding Coordinator to join our Community Funding Services team in the new year. This role is all about making sure community providers have the support they need to access funding and deliver great outcomes for Tauranga.
What you’ll do
- Be the first point of contact for community groups applying for funding.
- Guide applicants through the funding process and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage the day-to-day administration of grants and funding, including reporting and monitoring.
- Follow up with project teams to make sure reporting requirements are met on time.
- Help prepare funding applications and keep accurate records.
Ngā Pukenga | What you’ll need to succeed
To thrive in this role you will bring
- A tertiary qualification in business, administration, or similar – or equivalent experience.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Confident working with different teams and comfortable managing up when needed.
- Great customer service and communication skills.
- Experience with fundraising applications and monitoring reports.
Experience working with funding agencies or philanthropic organisations would be a bonus.
