Te Tūranga | About the role

We’re looking for an organised, detail‑driven Property Coordinator to support the smooth day‑to‑day management of Council’s property portfolio. If you enjoy coordinating information, working with a variety of stakeholders, and keeping things running accurately and efficiently, this could be a great fit.

Alongside another Property Coordinator, you’ll support our Property Services team of 9 by:

  • Coordinating tenancy and lease activities, including renewals, rent reviews, inspections and tenant correspondence
  • Maintaining accurate property, lease and tenant information across Council systems
  • Supporting financial processes such as invoicing, purchase orders, reconciliations and debt monitoring
  • Working closely with internal teams like Finance, Facilities, Legal and Customer Services
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and manage risks efficiently
  • Providing general administrative and financial support

 

Ngā Pukenga | What you’ll need to succeed

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong administration skills and experience
  • Has experience working with detailed information, processes and documentation
  • Is comfortable supporting financial activities such as invoicing, reconciliations or debt monitoring
  • A strong financial background would be an advantage
  • Enjoys coordinating tasks and supporting others to get things done well
  • Communicates clearly and builds positive working relationships
  • Brings relevant experience in property, legal, compliance or office-based environments, supported by a related qualification or demonstrated experience
  • Has a good grasp of technology and systems (especially Outlook, Excel and SAP)
