Te Tūranga | About the role

We’re looking for someone who’s great at building relationships and making digital systems work better for people. This role sits within our Regulatory Support & Compliance Services group and acts as the main link between our team and Digital Services.

You’ll help our teams use digital tools more effectively, solve system issues, and improve the customer experience. If you enjoy working with others to make things run smoothly and have a knack for spotting opportunities to improve processes, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Be the key contact between our division and Digital Services.
  • Build strong relationships with teams and leaders across Council.
  • Help staff use digital systems confidently and effectively.
  • Support the Regulatory Account Management team with system tools and workflow improvements.
  • Coordinate and manage system-related issues and work with Digital Services to resolve them.
  • Advocate for R&C priorities and help progress development projects through Council systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve how we work and make recommendations for change.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and customers.

 

Ngā Pukenga | What you’ll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in planning, building, business, or a related field.
  • Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders and building strong partnerships.
  • Great problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience managing small to medium projects and supporting new systems or processes.
  • Confidence using ERP systems and planning tools.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and the wider Office suite.
