Help shape how one of New Zealand's fastest-growing cities connects with its community online.

We're looking for two experienced digital professionals to join our team as Senior Web Content Specialists on fixed-term contracts—one full-time and one part-time. In these roles, you'll help ensure Tauranga City Council's digital channels provide clear, accessible and engaging information that helps our community find what they need, when they need it.

This is more than publishing web pages. You'll work alongside content owners, communications professionals and subject matter experts to improve digital experiences, provide expert advice on web best practice, and use insights and analytics to inform better decisions. You'll also contribute to major digital initiatives and support the ongoing evolution of our websites, forms and online services.

• Influence the digital experience of thousands of customers who interact with Council online every day.
• Use content, analytics and user experience insights to drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver high-quality online content and services.

Ngā Pukenga | What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you'll bring a combination of web content expertise, digital curiosity and strong stakeholder management skills. You'll know how to create content that works for online audiences, understand accessibility and user experience principles, and enjoy helping others improve their digital capability.

You'll likely have experience in web publishing, digital content management or website administration and be comfortable working with content management systems, analytics and engagement tools. Experience developing forms, surveys, digital customer journeys, and hands-on experience with HTML and CSS for web development and content presentation would be highly valued.

Most importantly, you'll be proactive, customer-focused and motivated by delivering better digital experiences for our community.
