Site Traffic Management Supervisors (STMS) 4 vacancies
This is an exciting opportunity for 4 experienced and passionate STMS to come on board and help us stand up a brand-new TM operation.
As a City Ops STMS, you must be deeply committed to safety—your own, your team’s, and the public’s. Our TM team is unlike any other as at times, yourself and your TC/ TMO’s may provide support to other City Ops teams, this may include gardening, mowing, weed whacking and other tasks. It’s all about being flexible and collaborative so the entire City Ops team delivers what they need to!
Key Responsibilities:
· Set up, manage, and supervise temporary traffic management sites (supporting our roadside mowing and horticulture crews)
· Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, CoPTTM/ NZGTTM and crew requirements.
· Accurately complete site documentation, reports, and hazard assessments.
· Respond effectively to any incidents or changes in traffic conditions.
· Core hours of operation are: 6am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday. Working a minimum of 40 hours per week, however flexibility is a must between 5am and 8pm as there is often work that falls out of the core hours. Weekend work may also be required/available.
· Collaborate with other teams to provide additional work force at times.
Ngā Pukenga | What You’ll Bring
· An absolute passion for safety and minimising risk
· Relevant experience of 2-3 years as an STMS.
· Valid STMS (A/ B practicing qualification)
· Full, clean NZ Driver’s Licence Class 2.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills, proven success leading an effective, efficient and safe team.
· Solid tech skills (mobile phone/ ipad/ computer, apps, Microsoft office ).
· Reliable and well-organised.
