Summer Intern - Marketing Venues & Events

Te Tūranga | About the role

We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic intern to join our marketing team over summer. You’ll help promote local events, create fun and engaging content, and learn how to run real campaigns. If you love social media and storytelling, this is a great chance to build your skills and portfolio.

What You’ll Do

• Make content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and more
• Help grow our social media following and engagement
• Plan and run a mini marketing campaign
• Learn how to target different audiences and choose the right platforms
• Put together a portfolio of your work to show what you’ve learned

Who We’re Looking For

You might be studying marketing, communications, media, or something similar. You’re probably someone who:

• Enjoys making videos, taking photos, and writing posts
• Knows your way around social media and how to get people’s attention
• Likes working with others and trying new things
• Is keen to learn and get stuck in

What You’ll Get

Each week you’ll work on different tasks—from filming at events to analysing how posts perform. You’ll be supported by experienced team members and get real feedback to help you grow.
