To help deliver our exciting city strategy and manage future growth and development we are looking for a Supervisor in our Building Engineers team, if you are thinking about making a change for the new year this is an amazing opportunity to join a dedicated team integral to shaping the future of our city.
As a Supervisor – Building Engineers you will lead a team of technical professionals to ensure the provision of professional, high-quality engineering advice in accordance with the Building Act 2004. This position requires strong leadership of the Building Engineers team, offering technical advice and guidance on building consent processes. It also involves developing and maintaining professional relationships to achieve business goals.
Ngā Pukenga | What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring;
- A Tertiary qualification in Engineering
- Chartered Professional Engineer
- Proven experience leading a high performing team of professionals, in a high pressure environment.
- Must have a strong understanding of regulatory systems and specifically the Building Act 2004 (and Building Code and associated Regulations).
- To be considered for this position you will need to currently be in New Zealand and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
